A Visual Journey

Catharine studied Fine Art (Painting) at Bath Spa University and went on to study the Art and History of Botanical Illustration at the University of Birmingham. For several years she worked within the university in their botanic garden continued to develop her own artwork. In 1999, she was to become a founder member of Birmingham Society of Botanical Artists and was an active member of the committee, acting as their PR and Archivist. She has regularly exhibited her artwork and has work held in both public and private collections. She has also produced commissioned natural history illustrations, predominantly for garden literature, leaflets and exhibition material.
